Freddie Oke is on a musical journey — one shaped by influences, experiences, and deep creative partnerships.
Us was recorded with musicians who have worked with the likes of Gotye, Steely Dan, and Bruno Mars to name but a few. The result: real instruments, rich harmonies, thick horns, lush strings, keys, and guitars — flowing across musical genres.

The banging Summer Song, “Listen to US
Inspired by the wide-open skies of Kent and the buzzing cosmopolitan energy of South London, Freddie Oke has spent the last few years crafting songs rooted in heart, memory, and meaning.
His sound drifts between the calm of the countryside and the rhythm of the city — blending soul, reggae, pop, and truth.
With his debut single Forever released in 2024, Freddie began a deeply personal musical journey.
Now, with his latest track Us, he invites you to feel the energy, connection, and spirit which defines his work.
Freddie was born between two vibrant worlds.
An Irish mother — an artist who adored sunflowers and style.
A Nigerian father — a teacher wrapped in rich Yoruba cloth, dancing to King Sunny Adé.
Raised in London in the 70’s was a mix of struggle and soul.
It shaped his eyes, his ears, his art.
This self-discovery carried itself not only through his music, but also fashion and interior design, creating an enigmatic union.
Culture, to Freddie, isn’t theory. It’s lived experience. Memory, movement, meaning.
He doesn’t just represent culture — He lives it!
Freddie has taking his Father Felix surname from the Yoruba word ‘Oke’ meaning hill — a rising force from the earth — this symbol pulses with life.
The O is a watchful head.
The K a strong spine.
The e reaches outward, embracing everyone.
Oke is for the Earth, it is for Equality, it is for Energy
